Such wonderful event

Canon Tomás Kennedy, of the King’s Family of Churches, was consecrated a Bishop on October 17th 2007, in Benissa, Spain. He was consecrated bishop by four bishops in Apostolic Succession: the Rt Rev Josep Rossello (the King’s Family of Churches – the CCC), the Rt Rev William Mikler (Apostolate for the Nations, the CCC), the Most Rev Sean Larkin (the United Anglican Church) and the Rt Rev John Paterson (Hope Centre). Together, they were from England, Spain and the USA. The four of them lay on their hands in order to consecrate Tomás into Apostolic Succession.

Bishop Tomás has been appointed as an Assistant-Bishop to The Rt. Rev. Josep Rossello [pictured on the right], Presiding Bishop of the King’s Family of Churches. He will have direct responsibility for the development of the Dublin NightChurch, the work in Europe and in India. As the Assistant Bishop, he is directly involved through the Executive Council in the oversight responsibility throughout the King’s Family of Churches.
